DEFEND ID CUP MINI SOCCER HELD AT PINDAD TO COMMEMORATE 1 YEAR OF ESTABLISHMENT
Mini Soccer DEFEND ID CUP was held successfully at the PT Pindad Bandung Directorate Field, with PT Pindad emerging as the victor after defeating PT Dirgantara Indonesia with a score of 3-0 on March 2nd 2023. This event was held in the commemoration of SOEs Defence Industry Holding, DEFEND ID’s first anniversary. DEFEND ID Cup was officially opened by the Chief Finance, Risk Management & HR Officer Kemal Sudiro, and Chief Commercial Officer, Atih Nurhayati representing the CEO of PT Pindad who was unable to attend.
Chief Finance Officer, Risk Management & HR Officer, Kemal Sudiro remarked that he wished for all the competing teams to have a good match and advised them to prioritize togetherness and to uphold the values of sportsmanship. "Congratulations on competing on PT Pindad's field, play fairly, healthily, with sportsmanship and prioritize togetherness so that closer friendships can be established through this event," said Kemal Sudiro.
This tournament was played by 10 teams consisting of PT Len Industry (Persero), PT Pindad, PT Dirgantara Indonesia, PT Pal, PT Dahana, PT Pindad Enjiniring Indonesia (PEI), PT Len Telekomunikasi Indonesia (LTI), PT Len Railway System, PT Eltran Indonesia and PT Surya Energi Indotama.
Aside from Mini Soccer, DEFEND ID also held competitions for other sports, such as Table Tennis, Badminton, Basketball and Chess.
