Commemorating The Youth Pledge, Pindad Launch Latest Company’s Culture

Chief Executive Officer of PT Pindad (Persero), Abraham Mose inaugurated the new PT Pindad (Persero) corporate culture, AKHLAK on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 which was carried out online and attended by all employees of PT Pindad (Persero). This activity also coincides with the moment of the Youth Pledge which is commemorated every October 28. The AKHLAK cultural launch event attended by Chief Administration and Finance of Administration and Finance, Wildan Arief, the Director of Technology and Development, Ade Bagdja, echelon 1 officials and company employees.

The acronym for AKHLAK is: Amanah, Kompeten, Harmonis, Loyal, Adaptif, dan Kompetitif. (Mandate, Competent, Harmonious, Loyal, Adaptive, and Competitive.)

Abraham Mose said that the change in corporate culture to AKHLAK actually complements the previous company culture, called JBUS (Honest, Learn, Excellence, Safe). Abraham also explained the meaning of each value contained in AKHLAK.

"Amanah, is synonymous with working honestly. Competent, we must continue to learn and improve our abilities and competencies. Harmonious, working well towards Pindad becoming the Top 100 global defense industry company by 2024 and this harmony reflects the meaning of 'safety' that exists in the JBUS culture. Loyalty, work excellence and is the hallmark of Pindad which continues to innovate, loyal to the company. Adaptive, we continue to learn, see how developments are happening outside so that we can adopt outside businesses that are developing. And Collaborative, where collaborative provides new value for the company through strategic partnerships. " Abraham explained.

Abraham emphasized that the AKHLAK culture is more or less the same as the JBUS culture that has been applied first in Pindad and is left to continue to be applied in work.

In line with the CEO, Chief Technology and Development of PT Pindad (Persero), Ade Bagdja advised that the most important thing from this new culture is not about the rhetoric of AKHLAK itself, but how we implement the values ??contained in it.

Chief Administration and Finance of PT Pindad (Persero), Wildan Arief added, with extraordinary challenges in pandemic conditions, at the end of 2020 and soon facing 2021 Wildan Arief hopes that with a new spirit and culture, Pindad can achieve the targets that have been set, stay enthusiastic. and advised to stay healthy by complying with health protocols.

The event was then continued with the screening of the AKHLAK launching video, a video commemorating the Youth Pledge and ended with a sharing session of participants' testimonies from various units / divisions and group photos.
