Pindad Collaborates with BPPT for the Commercialization of Mortar Count Machine Innovation Products
PT Pindad (Persero) signed a cooperation agreement with the Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT) concerning the Commercialization of Mortgage Shooting Assistance Equipment located at the Ceramic Creative Industry Technology Center (BTIKK), South Denpasar, Bali (27/8). The agreement entered into by both parties is the development of the Mortar Counting Machine (MHM) product and the commercialization of the product.
The signing of the cooperation agreement was carried out by the Director of Technology and Development of PT Pindad (Persero), Ade Bagdja and the Head of BPPT, Dr. Ir. Hammam Riza, M.Sc., IPU.
Mortgage Counting Machine (MHM) is an innovative development between PT Pindad (Persero) and BPPT that functions as a module for developing the shooting control system, especially for mortars and rockets. Put simply, MHM becomes a tool in the shooting, as a guide to the enemy monitoring team to provide coordinates to the firing team, as well as being able to take into account various shooting technical matters so that the mortar is on target. Going forward, the development of MHM will be refined to support the mobile mortar firing system.
On this occasion, the Bali Regional Secretary, Dewa Made Indra representing the Governor of Bali, gave a speech and thanked for his trust as the Host of various important cooperation agreements between BPPT and the Regional Government, SOEs, Companies and related Agencies.
Nudrin Abdullah (Governor of South Sulawesi), Dr. Andi Yuliani Paris (Member of the Indonesian Parliament), dr. Sri Harski Teteki, Mkes (Marketing Director of PT Bio Farma) also appeared to provide exposure in the collaboration forum activities and BPPT cooperation signatories.
After the MOU signing and presentation from various parties, the event was then continued with a visit to the BTIKK Facility. After the visit, the activity ended with a suave and lunch activity. (Raka)
