Pindad and the BNN Signed the Anti Narcotics MoU

PT Pindad (Persero) and the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) establish cooperation on Prevention, Combating Narcotics Abuse and Illicit Circulation (P4GN) and Narcotics Precursors. The memorandum of understanding / MoU was signed by Pindad's Managing Director, Abraham Mose and Head of BNN, Heru Winarko on Monday, November 19, 2018 at Grha Pindad Bandung.

The cooperation involved includes disseminating information about the dangers of narcotics; increasing the participation of Pindad as a volunteer and anti-Narcotics activist; the implementation of drug tests / tests in the company environment; increasing HR capacity; product utilization in terms of procurement of security tools and equipment to support programs to prevent and eradicate the abuse and illicit circulation of Narcotics and Narcotics Precursors; exchange of data and information; and other things that support the BNN program to fight drugs.

Pindad will support the need for weapons and ammunition needed by BNN in an effort to combat drug crime. In his speech Abraham Mose appreciated the establishment of the MoU and the socialization of the dangers of drugs given by the Head of the National Narcotics Agency and his staff to Pindad employees.

"We express our gratitude for the first visit from the Head of the National Narcotics Agency, Deputy and the entire group for the establishment of positive cooperation while at the same time providing socialization especially for the prevention of drugs. "Understanding the dangers of drugs is certainly very important, necessary and beneficial for employees and their families," Abraham said.
