Pindad supports training for Pusdikif Pussenif Sniper Trainer cadres

After-Sales Service Department (LPJ) of PT Pindad (Persero) supporting the implementation of training in a unit to prepare a cadre of sniper trainers which was attended by Military Teachers, students from Pusdikif Pussenif, as well as several representative participants from Kostrad. The event was attended by the Manager of LPJ Pindad, Zaenal Abidin as a resource person and the Commander of the Center for Information Education (Pusdikif), Brigadier General Tatan Ardianto and his ranks. The exercise was held on February 23, 2021 at the Pussenif Kodiklat TNI AD, Bandung.

The manager of LPJ Pindad, Zaenal Abidin said that the aim of this training was to provide technical assistance, education and knowledge sharing related to the Sniper Rifle (SPR), especially the SPR made by Pindad so that users get a comprehensive understanding.

The training was carried out using the Pindad SPR-2, SPR-3 and SPR-4 weapons. This training includes how to calculate MOA & Mirad distances, correlation between weapons, munitions & scope, bullet drop, emptying and weapon correction practices. The shooting practice will be carried out the next day at the Cipatat shooting range. Activities are carried out while observing the Covid-19 health protocol.

The SPR-2 caliber 12.7 mm has a range of up to 2 km, SPR-3 Caliber 7.62 mm has a range of 1 km, while SPR-4 caliber .338 "has a range of up to 1.5 km.
