Pindad Held Flag Ceremony Commemorating National Heroes Day
All elements of the employees and subsidiaries of PT Pindad (Persero) commemorated National Heroes Day by holding a flag ceremony led by the Director of Finance & Performance of PT Pindad (Persero), Wildan Arief as the Inspector of Ceremony in the main field of PT Pindad, Bandung (11/11/2019) . This flag ceremony was held to commemorate the services and struggles of the heroes in defending the Republic of Indonesia.
The ceremony began with singing the march of PT Pindad (Persero) followed by the raising of Indonesian National flag. After raising the Red and White flag, proceed with a moment of silence for 60 seconds to commemorate Heroes' Day solemnly and read the mandate of the Indonesian Minister of Social Affairs by the Ceremony Inspector. Pindad also gave a token of appreciation to employees who had entered retirement.
Commemoration of Heroes Day in 2019 with the theme "I am a Hero of the Present", it is hoped that all Indonesian people have the spirit of heroism and are encouraged to fight to develop the country according to their abilities and professions.
By becoming a hero today, every human being in Indonesia is expected to be able to maintain the harmony of the nation and state within the frame of the Republic of Indonesia by always prioritizing the interests of the nation and state above personal or group interests.
Happy Heroes Day, hopefully the services and sacrifices of the heroes can become our role models and guidelines today as our founding fathers, Bung Karno, stated that "only a nation that values the services of its heroes can become a great nation".
