Pindad Attends 24th Hakteknas Commemoration

Director of Technology and Development of PT. Pindad (Persero), Ade Bagdja attended the 24th National Technology Awakening Day (Hakteknas) Event at Puputan Renon Area, Denpasar, Bali (08/28/19). The event was attended by the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Jusuf Kalla, Minister of Research and Technology, Mohamad Nasir, Governor of the Province of Bali, I Wayan Koster, members of Bali Province officials, Chancellors, Actors of Innovation, Officials of local government agencies and institutions, private business entities and private sector representatives, ministry representatives, and BPPT officials.

The Minister of Ristekdikti, Mohamad Nasir, opened the event and stated the aim of the Hakteknas 2019 which moved towards Creative Industries 4.0.

"Bali was chosen because it has tourism potential, culture, creative industries, entrepreneurs, high education institutions, researchers and innovators, as well as international class. This is in accordance with the Hakteknas theme related to the development of creative industry 4.0 for regional independence and competitiveness", he said Nasir.

In his remarks, Indonesian Vice President Jusuf Kalla praised the innovations presented at the Hakteknas this time, "It is a pleasure to be able to witness the latest innovations comes from our people. Progress is marked by added value, system efficiency, and ways of working. Progress only grows from current technological innovations."

Jusuf Kalla also expressed his hopes for Hakteknas especially for the advancement of national technology, "Never be satisfied with the technological achievements we have achieved, and always produce innovations every year. My hope is that with our large human capital we can answer the challenges of future technological progress with more responsive and innovative . " Jusuf Kalla stated.

After his remarks, Jusuf Kalla carried out the gong beating ceremony accompanied by the Governor of Bali as a sign of the inauguration of the 24th National Hakteknas Commemoration.

Jusuf Kalla and the group then visited the location of the Ritech Expo 2019 exhibition. Pindad, which is a member of the BUMNIS Pavilion, had the opportunity to be visited by the group and was able to show innovative products that had been developed in the past 1 year.

At the end of the Ritech Expo 2019 exhibition, the BUMNIS Pavilion received a sweet prize in the form of 1st place as the Best Stand in the Industry / BUMN category thanks to its popularity and good evaluation result of the displayed booth material (Tomo).
