Pindad Collaborates with PT ICDX Bonded Logistics Related to Excavators

PT Pindad (Persero) together with PT ICDX Bonded Logistics signed the Cooperation Agreement on Marketing, Sales, and Provision of Excavator Components on Thursday, May 14, 2020. The signing was done by PT Pindad (Persero) President Director, Abraham Mose and PT ICDX President Director Bonded Logistics, Petrus Tjandra witnessed by the Director of the Industrial Products Business, Heri Heriswan along with his staff.

The signing of the Cooperation Agreement was carried out through teleconference, implementing social distancing to minimize the spread of the Covid-19 virus.

In his remarks, Abraham Mose delivered a food security business strategy and appreciation to PT ICDX for its visionary thoughts on the cooperative relations between the two companies.

"Food security is one of the things that needs to be prepared in doing business in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. The government program to open new agricultural lands, rice fields, and rice barns is a good opportunity for heavy equipment businesses as well as agricultural equipment. Hopefully this cooperation will run smoothly and provide profit and value contribution for both companies, "Abraham explained.

Meanwhile, Petrus Tjandra revealed that PT ICDX began to expand its business into the agricultural sector, as well as expressing his pride towards Pindad and hopes that the signing of the Cooperation Agreement continues until the signing of the contract.

"Whatever the project, both agriculture and others, the heavy equipment must be from Pindad. The SOE Minister has issued a decree to prioritize the use of domestic products. Hopefully it is not just an MoU, but also a contract. "

There is a hope that the cooperative relationship between Pindad and PT ICDX can contribute actively to the nation and state.
