Pindad sends 35 excavators to PT Sungai Berlian Mahakam Kalimantan for mining

PT Pindad (Persero) in collaboration with PT Suma Energi Investama Group sends 25 Excava 200 units to PT Sungai Berlian Mahakam, Tenggarong, Berau, East Kalimantan which was held on Friday, September 10, 2021 at Pindad Bandung Office. The ceremonial event of the shipment was attended by Acting Chief Business of Industrial Products officer, Wijil Jadmiko Budi; President Director of PT Suma Energi Investama Group, Suparni; President Director of PT Anugrah Mutiara Indah, Yuyun Hermawan and General Manager of Heavy Equipment Division, Cucun Kalsum. The delivery of 35 Excava 200 units today is the first phase of a total 100 excavators that have been ordered.

Acting Chief Business of Industrial Product officer, Wijil Jadmiko Budi hopes that the delivery process will go well and expresses his gratitude for PT Suma Energi Investama Group’s trust in Pindad industrial products.

“We thank you for your trust in Pindad, hopefully in Kalimantan Pindad’s products can make it easier and useful in all activities. In the midst of his pandemic and sluggish economy, the heavy equipment industry as well as mining has started to squirm so that the need for heavy equipment has started to increase. We hope that the first stage of delivery will arrive safely at its destination, and this collaboration will not only include 100 units, but up to 400 excavator units,” Wijil explained.

President Director of PT Suma Energi Investama Group, Suparni expressed his appreciation and gratitude to Pindad for entrusting PT Suma Energi Investama Group as part of Pindad’s business partner. Suparni hopes that all entrepreneurs and government can support domestic products in order to build Indonesian economy.

“Thanks to Pindad for trusting us. Hopefully in the future we can send more domestic products. As my love as a citizen of this country, I believe Pindad is a child of the nation who is able to compete with other developed countries’ products. Although it is not easy, but with faith and will, Pindad will become a big company and continue to grow. Hopefully our cooperation will run long term and can increase sales, making Pindad the main choice for heavy equipment products in Indonesia,” said Suparni.

After giving a speech, Acting Chief Business of Industrial Product officer, accompanied by the President Director of PT Suma Energi Investama Group, cut the ribbon and broke the pitcher as a symbol of first stage shipment of Pindad Excava 200 to Kalimantan.
