Pindad Send Excava 200 Supports Recovery After the Palu Earthquake & Tsunami Disaster, Central Sulaw

Pindad sent 1 unit of excavator, known as the Pindad Excava 200 brand to support recovery after the earthquake and tsunami disaster that hit Palu, Central Sulawesi. The excavator sent by Pindad is the latest production in 2018. The colour is red and white, transported by plane on 9 October 2018 in Jakarta.

Previously, 4 units of Excava 200 had also assisted the process of disaster recovery with details of 1 unit owned by the Director General of Water Resources and 3 units owned by the Director General of Highways of the Ministry of Public Works and public Housing produced in 2017.

President Director, Abraham Mose expressed his condolences and deep concern for the victims of the earthquake and tsunami disaster.

"We are concerned and grieved over the earthquake that occurred in Central Sulawesi. Seeing our brothers and sisters losing shelter, property and relatives, arousing our caring and caring feelings, we want it to be present and share our grief. "We never stop praying for our brothers in Central Sulawesi, may Allah provide protection, patience and sincerity for our brothers in Central Sulawesi," Abraham said.

The shipment of excavators made by Pindad is a form of corporate concern and the form of BUMN present for the country to support post-disaster recovery.

"Delivery of 1 unit of Excava 200 to Palu is a proof of BUMN service present to the country. We hope that the presence of Excava 200 in Palu can be a bit of a relief and support the work of the emergency response team in the post-disaster recovery process, "continued Abraham.

The 21.7 ton excavator has been absorbed by the market, bought by the Ministry of Public Works, Ministry of Agriculture, DKI Government, PT Barata and private mining. Excava 200 has a production capacity of 1 unit per day, measuring 9.542 m in length, 2.895 m in width and 3.193 m in height. Excava 200 has sold 227 units to date. In 2016, 27 units were sold, 130 units in 2017 and 70 units sold in September 2018. The domestic-made excavator is projected to sell 130 units by the end of 2018.
