Pindad Held Various Contests to Enliven the 36th Anniversary

Pindad held various events and competitions as a series of activities of 36th PT Pindad Anniversary on April 27th-28th. The series of PT Pindad's Anniversary events began with Fun Bike activities attended by thousands of participants consisting of Directors, management, employees, family of the employees, various communities of bicycle lovers and public communities. The activities held at 06.00 WIB began with encouragement and chanting performance by the Management Trainee (MT) Pindad 2019 to enliven the atmosphere. The route of fun bike activities started from the Pindad headquarter then went around the city of Bandung.

Beside the event for adults, Pindad also held a coloring contest for children at Grha Pindad (27/4). A total of 250 children aged 4-9 years enthusiastically painted various products made by Pindad. Coloring activities for children were organized by Pindad so that the people, especially children, could get to know the variety of domestic defense equipment and industrial products.

The event was getting lively with a unique competition that became a tradition, namely the panzer-pulling competition which held in every company's anniversary. The vehicle used in the panzer-pulling competition is the Badak Panzer, a 6x6 combat vehicle with a 90 mm canon and weighing 11 tons. Team of 15 people from different unit / division competes as quickly as possible to pull the Badak Panzer to the finish line. This competition is an iconic event that attracts the enthusiasm of employees and public communities.

A singing competition was also held by Pindad which titled "Pindad's Got Talent". The participants consisting of Pindad's employees and family of the employees were judged by the judges to qualify them from the preliminary round to the final round. The top 3 finalists appeared on the main stage at the peak of the Pindad Anniversary commemoration and performed in front of public audiences.

At the end of the Pindad Anniversary commemoration, there were prizes & awards for various competitions, namely; sports competition between employees, rifle shooting competition, quiz competition, e-sport competition, photography contest and Pindad’s Got Talent competition (Raka) .
