Pindad Joined in Online Commemorating Indonesia’s Independence Day
PT Pindad (Persero) remembering The 75th of Indonesia’s Independence Day with commemorating virtually in Pindad Head Office Bandung, Monday, August 17, 2020. A virtual commemorate was led by the President of The Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo followed by 17.845 participants with a quota limited by the Presidential Secretariat.
The commemoration ceremony of the seconds of the Proclamation of Indonesian independence was held on a limited basis at the Istana Merdeka for the very first time and still implementing health protocols to prevent the transmission of Covid-19.
The ceremony this time was also special because the Board of Director of PT Pindad (Persero) attended the ceremony wearing Sundanese traditional clothes. The Sundanese traditional clothes was chosen as a ceremonial outfit by the Board of Directors of PT Pindad (Persero) this year as a symbolism the location of Pindad's head office in Bandung, West Java.
The ceremony to commemorate the 75th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia was held twice, first was the flag-raising ceremony which was held at 10.00 WIB and the flag lowering ceremony which was held at 17.00 WIB.
