Pindad Commemorates Independence Day of RI with Creative Artifact Seminar and Contest
Commemorating the 74th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia's Independence, PT Pindad (Persero) held a "Kibar Indonesiaiaku" seminar followed by a unique competition, a creative artifact competition between PT Pindad (Persero) divisions.
Both of these activities were held at Grha Pindad, Bandung on Friday (16/8/08). PT Pindad (Persero) 's Director of Finance and Administration, Wildan Arief, opened a series of seminars and contests to enliven the celebration of Indonesian Independence.
In his remarks, Wildan Arief stressed that as the only Defense Industry Company in Indonesia, PT Pindad (Persero) must excel in terms of quality and innovation that is always empowered. With the spirit of progress and innovation in producing products, is a form of spirit of nationalism in welcoming this year's Independence Day.
As part of the Independence Commemoration, PT Pindad (Persero) held a My Indonesian Kibar Seminar to provide insight into the nationalist spirit and motivation for innovation. My Indonesian Kibar Seminar is also in line with the theme of Indonesia's Independence Commemoration this year, "Excellent HR, Advanced Indonesia!".
The seminar was filled by Budi Santoso and Slamet Irianto as speakers and sharing with the background of former TNI members & former Directors of PT Pindad (Persero).
The activity then continued with a unique contest, the Creative Artifact Competition. The unique technical competition this time is to make artifacts consisting of cyclical materials that can represent or describe their respective divisions / units.
All contestants produce artifacts as creatively as possible to get the highest score. The competition was even more lively with the attributes, decoration, yells and even uniforms and cheers of each competitor.
Each artifact will then be presented by representatives of each division / unit from echelon 1 or 2 and judged by 3 judges. The three jurors are: Slamet Irianto who is an Expert Staff of PT Pindad, Santa Yusuf as Expert Staff of PT Pindad and Sena Maulana as Managing Director of Pindad Enjiniring Indonesia.
After the presentation and evaluation from the jury, the announcement of the winner of the competition was conducted at the Indonesian Independence Day Commemoration Flag Ceremony, August 17, 2019.
