Pindad introduces latest vehicle innovation, MV2 4x4

PT Pindad (Persero) introduced its newest vehicle innovation, MV2 4x4 which was inaugurated by the CEO, Abraham Mose and the Board of Directors on Monday, August 2, 2021 at no.100 Building Special Vehicle Division. This event was attended by a limited number of VP/GMs due to pandemic situation.

Pindad MV2 is the latest development 4x4 vehicle with a light blue initial prototype. The appearance of its design and interior is more modern, the rear row is more spacious, hardtop roof with a rear canopy can be removed to become a double cabin vehicle and equipped with side footsteps.

The vehicle is designed to fulfil the needs of modern operations and it is also possible to cater to markets other than the military market. Its maneuverability is agile and reliable, equipped with a suspension that is comfortable to use in both on-road and off-road terrain.

VP of Innovation 0f PT Pindad (Persero), Windu Paramartha said, the MV2 4x4 vehicle is expected to be a source of pride and proof that the Indonesian people are able to compete by producing quality product innovations.

"Today is the launching of a new product, called MV2 4x4 vehicle which will be inaugurated by the CEO, Abraham Mose whose hope is that it can be a pride for Pindad and Indonesia where we can show that all of us sons and daughters of Indonesia can produce products that are proud and can be a solution, said Windu.

“This product is the result of the hard work of colleagues and helpful staffs. We hope that we can provide not only this product but also other products that will later be able to support Pindad to become a well-known, leading industry, and able to compete in the global market arena," continued Windu.

CEO of PT Pindad (Persero), Abraham Mose in his speech expressed his highest appreciation for all Pindad employees who continue to create various product innovations. Abraham said, Pindad has creative and innovative Human Resources so that they are able to create superior products.

"Today is a moment that we should be proud of because in the midst of the pandemic PT Pindad (Persero) is still carrying out innovations which are the hallmark of the company, the soul and blood of Pindad. Don't leave innovation, because we can be big, victorious and alive because we are able to produce creative and innovative products,” said Abraham.

"This is the moment, our opportunity to prove the innovation capabilities that exist in Pindad, guarded and not lost. Don't let the spirit of Pindad innovators, creators and engineers always grow innovative products. We will not be defeated if we master technology, the key is there. We are all proud of the results that never go out to continue and continue to produce innovative products. Keep growing and keep innovating!, "said Abraham.

CEO Abraham Mose accompanied by the Board of Directors then tried to drive the MV2 directly on the Special Vehicle Division test track. This vehicle has anticipated the corrections, previous production suggestions and adapted to the needs of hobbyists, off roaders or the perpetrators and lovers of this type of vehicle. In the future, other variants of this vehicle will be developed as needed.
