Pindad Won 2 Awards at BusinessNews Awards 2019

PT Pindad (Persero) won 2 awards at the Indonesia Business News Awards (IBA) in the category of The Best CEO & The Best Corporate in military and heavy equipment industry 2019 on Wednesday, November 6th, 2019 at BPPT II Building, Jakarta. The award was presented by the Minister of Research and Technology and the Head of the National Innovation Research Agency, Bambang Brodjonegoro, received by the Pindad Jakarta General Manager, Dody Eko Rudianto, representing the Directors of the company who were unable to attend.

In 2019 Pindad has produced various innovative products in the field of defense and security (defense and security) such as the Tiger Medium Tank, R-Han 122B, Polymer Gun, SSBA, SMB, MKB and others. As for industrial products, Pindad has produced Excavators in various variants, which the latest innovation are Excava 50 (5tons) and Amphibious. The Industrial business also produces AMH-o, Gesits electric motors, Paddy dryers, fire fighting vehicles and various agricultural machine tools (Alsintan).

The IBA 2019 award event was organized by BusinessNews Indonesia Magazine with this year's theme 'Business Transformation for Excellence Performance', joined by around 400 BUMN, BUMD, national private companies and government agencies / institutions.

The awards given at IBA 2019 are expected to motivate Pindad to continue the spirit of innovation and transformation in order to improve company performance.
