Pindad Wins Best SEO with Innovation in Military and Commercial Product Development at the 2018 BUMN

PT Pindad (Persero) won SOE Heroes' Best SEO with Innovation in Military and Commercial Product Development: Good Exporter in Miltary, BUMN Heroes of Foreign Exchange, Top 10 Popular SOEs in the Processing Sector, Top 10 Popular SOE in Processing Sector at the 2018 BUMN Award event Economic News.

The award obtained by PT Pindad (Persero) on November 24, 2018 at Balai Kartini, Jakarta shows the best performance, contributions and achievements for Indonesia during 2018.

On that occasion, Founder & President Commissioner Warta Ekonomi Fadel Muhammad, CEO & Chief Editor of Economic News Muhamad Ihsan, and President Commissioner of PT Pertamina (Persero) Tanri Abeng gave awards directly to the Director of Industrial Product Business, Heru Puryanto.

Heru Puryanto said this award was an encouragement for Pindad so that next year must be better. "This award is one of them related to the innovation of new product development, of course, next, we must develop new products that can bring Pindad forward," Heru said.

CEO & Chief Editor of the Warta Ekonomi Muhamad Ihsan Ihsan said it uses media monitoring tools to get state-owned companies with the most popular coverage coverage.

The results of the study obtained 31,279 publications, including subsidiaries and BUMD through 146 Indonesian online media. This number is obtained from news in the period January to June 2018 by using as many as 300 combinations of keywords.

Not only that, Warta Ekonomi also conducted research on a number of BUMNs in the category of Palu and Donggala Disaster Rescue by conducting desk research on SOEs that carry out disaster response activities.

This award is the second time given by the Economic News to Pindad. Previously, the company also won the Top 6 Popular SOE in Processing Sector for Indonesia's Appreciation for 2017 SOEs.
