Pindad Wins Emerging Industry Leader at the 2020 BUMN Performance Excellence Award

PT Pindad (Persero) won an award at the BUMN Performance Excellence Award (BPEA) in the category of "Emerging Industry Leader" in 2020 on February 4, 2020 in the Hall of the Ministry of BUMN, Jakarta. Pindad is included in the list of 22 SOEs that have reached the Emerging Industry Leader level in the 100 SOE assessments conducted by the SOE Executive Forum Assessment Program (FEB).

This BPEA activity was organized by FEB with Infobank Magazine. This BPEA award is given for the achievement of the company's excellence level which refers to the Superior Performance Assessment Criteria (KPKU) established by the Ministry of SOEs since 2012.

General Secretary of the FEB Firmanto Purdhy explained, the BPEA was an award ceremony, in the form of a charter and a trophy, to SOEs who had worked hard to build competitiveness through the integration of various management systems to achieve certain excellent performance.

"SOE's Superior Performance Assessment Criteria (KPKU) is one of the SOE Ministry's initiative strategies through systematic and sustainable performance improvement and improvement towards world-class performance," Firmanto said in his remarks.

KPKU divides Excellence Level into 8 (eight) bands, starting from the lowest, namely 1) Early Development (ED), (2) Early Result (ER), (3) Early Improvement (EI), (4) Good Performance (GP), (5) Emerging Industry Leader (EIL), (6) Industry Leader (IL), (7) Benchmark Leader (BM), and highest (8) World Class (WC).

The KPKU activity itself is a series that starts from training to develop the scientific capacity of SOE Business Excellence practitioners, the assessment process to the awarding of SOEs that achieve excellent performance.

Hopefully this award will provide additional motivation for all Pindad people in achieving the company's target in 2020 with the tag line "GOING BIG" which is a translation of Breakthrough, Innovate and Go Global (ryan).
