Pindad won in Indonesia’s Best BUMN Award 2020
PT Pindad (Persero) won an award at the Indonesia Best BUMN Award 2020 on Friday, November 27, 2020. PT Pindad (Persero) won the Very Good Financial Performance of Indonesia Best BUMN Award 2020 in the category of Developing Medical Devices and Equipment for Corona Virus Prevention.
The Indonesia Best BUMN Award 2020 was organized by Warta Ekonomi which was attended by dozens of SOEs companies.
CEO and Person in Charge of Warta Ekonomi, Muhamad Ihsan said, in 2020 along with the Covid-19 pandemic the world has experienced enormous changes in various sectors. From a business point of view, the supply chain is disrupted, the state through the government plays a more role, the environment is increasingly caring until digitalization is expanding so that various innovations are born. Muhamad Ihsan also said that apart from having good financial performance, as a state-owned company Pindad also actively contributed in helping to tackle the Covid-19 pandemic, one of which was producing a ventilator product called Pindad VRM.
PT Pindad (Persero) Corporate Secretary, Krisna Cahyadianus expressed his gratitude and pride for Pindad to receive the Very Good Financial Performance of Indonesia Best BUMN Award 2020 in the category of Developing Medical Devices and Equipment for Corona Virus Preference.
"Besides producing Alutsista products, we also have industrial products and currently we also produce medical devices which are intended as a form of our support in preventing the spread of the Covid-19 virus. Hopefully we can continue to create innovative products for domestic and foreign needs, and can maintain our performance," Krisna explained.
The Indonesia Best BUMN Award 2020 Warta Ekonomi this year carries the theme "The Guardian of Indonesia" with the hope that BUMN companies will continue to be motivated to innovate to advance the nation and state. The event was also attended online by the Founder and President Commissioner of Warta Ekonomi, Fadel Muhammad and the former State Minister for State-Owned Enterprises, Dr. Tanri Abeng, MBA.
