Pindad Delivered Aid for Lombok Earthquake
Secretary of PT Pindad (Persero), Tuning Ruydati, accompanied by the company’s Partnership and Community Development Programs (PKBL) team symbolically presented Rp 120,697,000 in aid for the people of Lombok who were hit by earthquake. Mandiri Bank’s Branch Manager, Rovi Dwiwibowo accepted the donation in Mandiri Bank office on Jalan Asia Afrika, Bandung, on August 21, 2018.
The aid was given as an embodiment of “BUMN Hadir untuk Negeri”, a token of love of the State-Owned Enterprise for the country, as well as to represent a form of responsibility to the society, by way of cultivating a sense of empathy and attention to the people of Lombok.
Pindad Family offers its condolences to the people suffering from the disaster that hit the Lombok Island. May the people suffering right now be able to face the hardship with patience.
Apart from donations from the company, in order to help our brothers and sisters in Lombok, Pindad has also initiated to open an “Earthquake Care Post” starting a few days ago, which distributes every donation collected to the people of Lombok.
May the aid from Pindad be useful in helping the people restore their destroyed public facilities and infrastructure and allowing the regional government to swiftly rebuild the region.
