Pindad handed over ventilators to Pena 98 Hospital to support the handling of Covid-19 in Bogor city

Corporate Secretary of PT Pindad (Persero); Krisna Cahyadianus and Junior Manager of TJSL PT Pindad (Persero); Yunus Somantri handed over the assistance of Pindad's ventilator to dr. Alfian, Director of Pena 98 Hospital and is located in the Hall of Pena 98 Hospital, Jl. Youth No. 36 Salting Village, Kec. Mount Sindur, Kab. Bogor, West Java on Tuesday, October 12, 2021. The delivery of ventilator is part of PT Pindad's TJSL (Environmental Social Responsibility) program in 2021. The ventilator product submitted is Pindad VRM (Ventilator Resuscitator Manual) totaling 5 units.

Pindad's innovative ventilator product is intended to support the handling of the Covid-19 pandemic. Currently, PT Pindad (Persero) has been certified and has produced 2 ventilator variants, namely Pindad VRM & Covent-20 which is the result of collaboration with the University of Indonesia.

In his speech, dr. Alfian expressed his appreciation for the delivery of PT Pindad (Persero)'s innovative products, ventilator. "We are grateful for Pindad's innovative ventilator product. Of course this is very helpful in handling the Covid-19 pandemic, especially the high demand in the Gunung Sindur area, Bogor," explained dr. Alfian.

After symbolically handing over ventilator products, Krisna Cahyadianus explained that Pindad was moved to innovate by producing medical products, especially ventilators. "The delivery of Pindad VRM ventilator products is part of PT Pindad (Persero)'s social responsibility in the health sector. We are called to care and support the handling of Covid-19 in the Bogor area." Obviously Krishna.

As part of the submission, PT Pindad (Persero) conducted product demos and technical assistance for Pindad VRM products.
