This was stated by the Director of Defense and Security Business Products, Heru Puryanto when receiving a visit from the Army Equipment Director, Brig. Gen. Subagyo together with his entourage at the PT Pindad Headquarters, Friday (03/13/2020).

In addition, Heru Puryanto expressed his positive appreciation for the cooperation that had been well established before.

"We are ready to establish closer relations, the highest appreciation for 2019 which has been going well, in 2020 we can increase cooperation and various things with the material for the Army," he said.

Heru admitted that currently, Pindad was facing quite a lot of challenges from the Ministry of Defense, one of which was that Pindad was encouraged to meet equipment for the TNI, starting from the weapons targeted to have to prepare 25 thousand weapons in the near future, combat vehicles and munitions.

Meanwhile, Dirpalad Subagyo expressed a good and intensive relationship between Pindad and Ditpalad. According to him related matters that are still lacking in Pindad products and product excellence has become part of the personnel at Ditpalad.

"I think, this Pindad is part of the TNI, I personally declare that we are the Pindad-hitting forces, and all of the problems with Pindad products can certainly be our work," Subagyo said.

According to him, Ditpalad has the role of the material supervisory function which includes weapons, munitions and special vehicles, as well as Pindad's partners to be able to realize the material independence needed.

Subagyo also said that in order to support maintenance, function, and when preparing spare parts for superior products, his party was ready to collaborate fully. He wants a direct "transfer of knowledge" not only to the technical assistance team who travel to the unit, but Ditpalad personnel also receive intensive training in Pindad.
