Pindad Show Water Canon and Various Weapons at the Peak of 2018 Hakteknas

PT Pindad (Persero) displays the latest Water Canon vehicles and its various products at Research, Innovation, and Technology (RITECH) Expo which is held on 9 - 12 August 2018 in commemoration of the peak of National Awakening Day (Hakteknas) in Riau Province. The event was opened by Mr. Teknologi, B.J. Habibie, Menristekdikti, Mohamad Nasir and the Governor of Riau, Arsyadjuliandi Rachman and attended by the President Director, Abraham Mose and the Director of Technology & Development, Ade Bagdja.

The theme of this year's Hakteknas is "Innovation for Food and Energy Independence" with the sub theme: "The Food and Energy Sector in the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0.

Pindad showcases water canon vehicles which are the result of research and development cooperation with BPPT, National Police Research and Development Center and PT Astanita. This high-tech canon water vehicle is designed to handle specification riots that are tailored to the needs of the National Police.

Pindad produces the vehicles while BPPT, PT Astanita and Puslitbang Polri collaborate to work on the water canon system. For certification conducted by the National Police Research and Development Center.

Display of this vehicle is a pride for Pindad, because it can convey to the entire community especially the people of Riau that Pindad is able to produce water canon in accordance with the specifications required by the user, in this case the National Police.

Pindad also presented various technology products and the latest innovation results of at RITECH Expo 2018. The weapons shown were SS2 V4 Kal. 5.56 mm, SS2 V7 Kal. 5.56 mm Subsonic, SPR 3 Kal. 7.62 mm SPR 4 Kal. 338 mm, G2 Combat, Elite, Premium, and MAG 4 Kal. 9 mm, Underwater Assault Rifle (SSBA) Kal. 5.56 mm and mock up various caliber munitions. PT Pindad (Persero) incorporated in BUMNIS Indonesia with PT Dahana (Persero), PT Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero), PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Persero), PT Industri Nuklir Indonesia (Persero), PT Len Industri (Persero), PT Pal Indonesia (Persero) and PT INKA (Persero) display various superior products together in the BUMNIS booth.
