Pindad Signs Joint Operation Agreement with Indian Solar Group in Defense & Industrial Products

Chief Executive Officer of PT Pindad (Persero), Abraham Mose and Executive Director of PT. Solar Mining Services, Indonesia,  Suresh Menon signed a Joint Operation Agreement (KSO) for the manufacture of Cast Boosters for industrial businesses at the Turen Munitions Division facility. The signing of the KSO was held online via video conference from Jakarta, Indonesia and Nagpur, India, on November 6, 2020.

The signing was witnessed by the Chairman of Solar Industries India Limited, Satyanarayan Nandlal Nuwal, Managing Director & CEO, Manish Nuwal, President Director of PT Solar Mining Services, Vetkav Ramesh, Chief Business of Industrial Products Officer, Heri Heriswan, Chief Business Strategy Officer, Rizka Putranto and GM Mining Service, Tatang Sugiana.

Abraham Mose welcomes the cooperation on industrial products and hopes that it will be implemented as soon as possible.

"Today we will sign agreement, the signing of cooperation between Pindad and India, JO for Booster. It is important to sign this cooperation agreement, we hope to make it happen as soon as possible because this is very necessary to run our business, "said Abraham.

SN Nuwal appreciated Pindad's quick steps to realize cooperation even in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.

"Finally, we can realize the agreement and sign the agreement in the midst of the difficult situation of the Covid-19 pandemic. This signing is a stepping stone as a first step to open a great relationship for the two companies. Hopefully this good relationship will continue. Pindad and Solar have a lot of the same ideas regarding understanding in business in the future, "said SN Nuwal.

Meanwhile, Manish Nuwal hopes that this collaboration can open up other opportunities in other fields between Indonesia and India.

"Indonesia and India have a good relationship that has existed for a long time, hopefully in the future there will be many opportunities that will come along with the progress of this relationship," said Manish Nuwal.

Hopefully with the signing of this KSO, Pindad and its strategic partners, Solar Group can establish a long-lasting and mutually beneficial cooperation for both parties.
