Pindad and BPH Migas Sign an MoU in the Field of Fuel Distribution Supervision

Chief Executive Officer of PT Pindad (Persero), Abraham Mose and Head of the Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency, M. Fanshurullah Asa signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the field of monitoring the distribution of Oil and Natural Gas on Monday, November 16, 2020 at the Munition Production Facility of PT Pindad ( Persero), Turen, Malang. The signing ceremony was witnessed by members of the DPR Commission VII; Ridwan Hisjam & Moreno Soeprapto as well as Echelon 1 Officials of PT Pindad (Persero): GM Munisi; Budhiarto, VP HCM; Kaka T. Rohana, and Corporate Secretary; Krisna Cahyadianus.

The Head of BPH Migas, M. Fanshurullah Asa, admitted that he was very interested and committed to providing defense and industrial products produced by Pindad to support BPH Migas' needs, especially in the field of monitoring the distribution of Oil and Gas Fuel.

Abraham Mose stated that he was ready to support the needs of BPH Migas. Some of the supports from PT Pindad (Persero) are products of firearms, munitions, gas cylinders and mini refueling stations and the production of downstream oil and gas industries. The signing of this MoU is the first step for a strategic good relationship for both parties.

The event continued with a review of the Pindad munition production facility located in Turen, Malang. The production facility of PT Pindad (Persero) that is located in Turen is specifically for the production of munitions, explosives and bombs. PT Pindad (Persero) has produced several variants of munitions, both small caliber munitions; Cal. 5.56mm, Cal. 7.62mm, Kal. 9,19mm, large caliber munitions; Cal. 90mm, Kal. 105mm, Hand grenades to Bombs. In the future, Pindad will continue to develop defense and security products and industrial products to support national defense and development.

PT Pindad as a state-owned limited liability company was formed in 1983. Pindad actively produces various defense equipment for the needs of the TNI, Polri and has also exported a number of its superior products such as ammunition, weapons and combat vehicles to the global market. Apart from producing defense equipment, PT Pindad also has an Industrial Directorate which produces heavy equipment such as excavators, tractors, marine cranes and railroad hooks, traction motors to generators.
