Pindad Signed MoU with Perum Jasa Tirta II

PT. Pindad (Persero) signed a memorandum of understanding with Perum Jasa Tirta II regarding the Provision of Industrial Products, Heavy Equipment, Electricity and New Renewable Energy in the Meeting Room of the Main Directorate of Pindad Bandung (12/18). President Director of Pindad, Abraham Mose signed the memorandum of understanding together with the President Director of Perum Jasa Tirta II, U. Saefudin Noer, also witnessed directly by the Board of Trustees of Perum Jasa Tirta II, Riad Oscha Chalid. The signing was also witnessed by the officials of Perum Jasa Tirta II and Pindad officials in the scope of the business of industrial products.

This memorandum of understanding covers cooperation between Pindad and Perum Jasa Tirta II (PJT II) in the procurement of industrial products, especially regarding generators and other industrial products supporting business projects from PJT II.

President Director of Pindad, Abraham Mose expressed his gratitude and pride for the trust that PJT II has given to Pindad regarding this collaboration, "We represent Pindad to express our gratitude for the trust from PJT II to us. This afternoon, we sign this agreement and open a new page for a promising relationship between Pindad and PJT II." Abraham opened in his remarks.

Furthermore, Abraham is optimistic that both parties can continue this mutually beneficial cooperation.

"Today is a form of mutually beneficial synergy between the two parties, not just a matter of buying and selling but also for us to develop products together and support the achievement of profits for both companies," Abraham said.

The same thing was agreed by the Director of PJT II, U. Saefudin Noer, who stated that this collaboration was very necessary and had been his concern for a long time.

"This signing is the result of long talks with Pindad and the need for complementarity. We believe, the first step is that we can help each other, then the second is to hand over everything to the respective experts. From here we can share the portion of cooperation in the frame of synergy between SOEs." said Saefudin.

Saefudin stated that the collaboration between PJT II and Pindad was a form of follow-up to the PJT II business expansion project and the procurement of its supporting equipments from Pindad.

"We are currently in the development of the operational area project. This project will emerge new opportunities for the development of companies that require infrastructure and facilities. In this case, we expect Pindad to be able to support us in supplying these needs, "concluded Saefudin.

Before signing, PJT II had the opportunity to do a plant tour to the production facility, such as visited the display of heavy equipment products and combat vehicles up to the weapons display in the Weapon Division. In the same place, the group also had the opportunity to try to shoot using some primary Pindad weapon products namely SS2-V4 and PM3. (Tomo)
