Farewell and Welcome Event of PT Pindad (Persero) Board of Directors

Based on the PT Pindad (Persero) Board of Directors changing, held a farewell and welcome event of PT Pindad Board of Directors. The event held on Monday, May 27th 2013 at Auditorium, Directorate Building. The event attended by Board of Directors, high level officials, and some of Head of Departments of Directorate of Administration and Finance and also from Directorate of Weaponry System.

On this event, PT Pindad which represented by the President Director, Adik Avianto Soedarsono bid a farewell to Slamet Irianto and Lenggogeni who wouldn’t be a part of Board of Directors any longer, and welcoming two new members on Board of Directors formation, Ade Bagdja and Rita Widayati. 

On his speech, the Preseident Director said that this formation changing could make a better change for PT Pindad. With a good work dividing, good communication between the Directors, so that all of the working target hoped could be reach and all the negative images which stick with PT Pindad could be disappeared along with the performance escalation.

Slamet Irianto gave his message that the Law Number 16 Year 2012 is a big challenge for PT Pindad because it could build a strong foundation for the company, along with the government programs and also with the industrial industry development. Furthermore, he also added that the business development which through by PT Pindad is a great momentum that really need to be kept for keeping the company sustainability with an excellent health stage.

The two new Directors, Ade Bagdja and Rita Widayati stated that they were ready to continue the position which transferred to them. Both of them also stated that they would establish the good relationship to meet the challenges before them, which of course is not easy. They also said to pay an attention to stakeholders concern that the new Board of Directors could work well.

Hopefully, this formation changing could bring a good effect to PT Pindad performance at the future. The company performance escalation that led to image improvement hopefully could be achieved. (Anggia)
