Farewell Welcome Event of PT Pindad (Persero) Board of Commissioners

After four and a half years dedication to PT Pindad (Persero), Heri Supraba officially left his position as the member of PT Pindad Board of Commissioners. He replaced by I Wayan Cager on the Farewell Welcome Event of Board of Commissioners which held on Wednesday, July 31^st 2013. The event was held at Auditorium Directorate Building and attended by Board of Commissioners, Board of Directors, high level officials of PT Pindad (Persero), ex-member of PT Pindad Board of Commissioners Richard Mengko, and the members of PT Pindad (Persero) Audit Committee. This event opened by President Director of PT Pindad (Persero), Adik Avianto Soedarsono.

On his opening speech, President Director said a major gratitude to Heri Supraba for his dedication to PT Pindad (Persero). His hard works for over four years to PT Pindad, hopefully could give a benefit to the company at the future. The president director also hoped this good relationship remains maintained. To the new commissioner I Wayan Cager, President Director congratulated him and hoped that he always given the ease of carrying the mandate that has been given.

Heri Supraba said his gratefulness toward the Board of Commissioners, Board of Directors, and all of Pindad staffs who have made a great cooperation with him during this time. He also said his apology for all the mistakes that he have done, whether intentional or unintentional, during his time of dedication.

The new commissioner member, I Wayan Cager said that he was ready to carry the great trust which has been given to him. He said that he was ready to cooperate and raising PT Pindad (Persero) at the future. His activities as the new commissioner member were a new thing for him. He expected a help and guidance from various parties in order to do his job properly.

The impressions during the cooperation with Heri Supraba also said by the Vice of Main Commissioner, Ali Yusuf. He said that was a lot of thoughts which given by Heri Supraba and the bond that was already formed was so difficult to be released. While for I Wayan Cager, Ali Yusuf hoped that there will be one established system regarding the weaponry system procurement at Indonesian Army that would form at this transition phase. He also hoped that the Board of Commissioner could work more maximal and carried PT Pindad to move forward and Indonesia defence industry no longer depend on foreign industries.

I Wayan Cager appointed as a member of PT Pindad (Persero) Board of Commissioners member through the Minister of State Owned Enterprises Decree number : SK-283/MBU/2013 and until now, he still served as Direktur Peralatan Angkatan Darat (Director of Indonesian Army Equipment) or Dirpalad. (Anggia)
