PPKM, Pindad provide food & health production assistance to Kebon Kangkung Village

PT Pindad (Persero) handed over 135 packages of basic necessities and health products in the form of 138 boxes of cloth masks, 144 packs of disinfectant tissue, and 144 bottles of vitamins to the people of Kebon Kangkung Village on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Pindad Office Bandung.

This assistance was symbolically handed over by the Chief of Administration & Finance officer of PT Pindad (Persero), Wildan Arief to Head of Kebon Kangkung Village, Rakhmat Taufiq and witnessed by Corporate Secretary, Krisna Cahyadianus, Junior Manager PKBL, Yunus Somantri and Babhin Kamtibmas.

This activity is one of PT Pindad (Persero)’s CSR/TJSL programs as a form of concern for the community around the company amidst the increasing cases of Covid-19 and the implementation of Community Activity Restriction (PPKM).

Rakhmat Taufiq expressed his gratitude to PT Pindad (Persero) for the assistance provided to the people of Kebon Kangkung Village who were exposed to Covid-19.

“Thank you to PT Pindad (Persero) for this assistance, especially for our people who are exposed to Covid-19 and have daily incomes in Kebon Kangkung Village. Hopefully the assistance given will be useful to help their daily lives,” said Rakhmat.

Rakhmat Taufiq also said that there was a spike in Covid-19 in Kebon Kangung Village.

Junior Manager PKBL, Yunus also advised to suppress the surge in Covid-19 cases so that all parties collaborate by complying with health protocols and implementing Wearing Masks, Washing Hands with Soap and Running Water, Maintaining Distance, Staying Away form Crowds, and Limiting Mobilization and Interaction (5M).
