PT Pindad (Persero) Achievements at BUMN Award 2013

PT Pindad (Persero) successfully obtained two awards of BUMN Award 2013, for “Local Content Usage In The Making of Tactical Vehicle” and “Implementation of SOEs Care” categories. The awarding event was held at PT Pertamina building, Sunday, May 19^th 2013. PT Pindad was represented by Director of Manufacturing Product, Tri Hardjono, who directly received the award certificate from Minister of State Owned Enterprises, Dahlan Iskan.

Pindad succeed obtaining the “Local Content Usage In The Making of Tactical Vehicle” award because successfully maximized the local content usage for the tactical vehicle product “Komodo”. The tactical vehicle which named by President of Republic of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, used 80% of local content for the production process.

The implementation of some of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities which had done by PT Pindad, able to make Pindad awarded by the “Implementation of SOEs Care” award, as the SOEs which engaged in Strategic and Manufacture Industry with other SOEs companies such as PT Dahana (Persero), PT Krakatau Steel (Persero), PT Pertamina (Persero), and PT Bio Farma (Persero).

This award was given to SOEs companies which succeed giving innovation and progress at any activities that is performed. Hopefully, this sort of award may encourage the performance of State Owned Enterprises companies to always provide the best for the nation. (Anggia)
