PT PINDAD (PERSERO) AT 2014 APSDEX
Like years before, PT Pindad (Persero), as the State Owned Company which producing the weaponry system products, was participated on 2014 Asia Pasific Defence Exhibition(APSDEX). The defence products exhibition were held on March 19th-20th, 2014 and placed at Jakarta Convention Centre (JCC). For this years APSDEX, PT Pindad (Persero) was displayed its leading weaponry system products such as weapon products which consisted of SS1-M1, SS2-V2, SS2-V4, SS2-V5, PM2-V2, SPG1-V1, Sabhara, Shootgun, G2 Combat and Elite Pistol, SM-3, SPR-2, SPR-3, Mortar 60 CO, Mortar LR, dan Mortar 81. Beside weapon products, were also displayed the ammunitions products such as 105 mm ammunitions and ammunitions mock up. The last product that was displayed was cloud seedling tool, CoSat 1000. PT Pindad (Persero)s participation was a great opportunity to introduce the products to the international delegations, as well as for creating and study for possibility for the new cooperation. with the potential customer from various countries which would be obtained.
2014 APSDEX, which held together with 2014 Jakarta International Defence Dialogue (JIDD) would be attending by international delegations which were came from 35 countries and the keynote speakers who the defence industry officials from Australia, India, China, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, USA, Japan, European Union, and the Netherlands. With the distinguished guests, APSDEX would be the great opportunity for both private and state owned industry companies to promote their products to the distinguished guests and decision makers from the international countries.
The success of previous APSDEX and JIDD were the reason why the Ministry of Defence welcoming the international defence delegation to discuss the issues which related with the international defence world. With Building Maritime Collaboration for Security and Stability theme, this years JIDD would discussing the bilateral and regional cooperation to discuss the issues that related to maritime on may fields such as trade, migration, and military at the open sea.
