PT Pindad (Persero) at ‘Pameran Produk Indonesia 2013’
Took place at Trans Convention Hall, The Trans Luxury Hotel Bandung, PT Pindad (Persero) was participated on 2013 Pameran Produk Indonesia (Indonesian Product Exhibition) or PPI 2013. The exhibition which arranged by Ministry of Industry held on September 26th-29th 2013 and directly opened by Vice of Ministry of Industry Alex SW Retraubun, accompanied by General Secretary of Ministry of Industry Anshari Bukhari, Head of Indonesia Chamber of Commerce for West Java Agung Suryamal Sutisna, and Head of West Java Industry Department Ferry Sofyan Amir. The exhibition opening was signed by sounded the West Java traditional music instrument, Angklung, simultaneously.
Domestic products which pressed by the presence of imported products were concerning the government. Therefore, the Ministry of Industry would like to bring the whole community to know and feel that many of the domestic products have a good quality and can be juxtaposed with imported products. Hence, the idea for arranging this exhibition was sparked.
Bandung, West Java was considered appropriate for holding this exhibition because in the exhibition, which was attended by around 129 companies, took the innovation and creativity as the big theme. West Java society was considered very appropriate for this theme. In addition, West Java is also one of the biggest contributors for national economy, considering about 50% from national industries are located at West Java.
PT Pindad (Persero) was in ‘Featured Products’ booth along with products from other companies, such as PT Indonesian Aerospace. PT Pindad (Persero) displayed some of mock ups from its leading vehicle products, such as Anoa Panser, Tactical Vehicle Komodo, and Water Canon Policia. PT Pindad presence in featured products booth is a proof that PT Pindad products are one of leading Indonesia products and that was a pride and honor for the company.
Hopefully with this exhibition, the people of Indonesia can know that many domestic products which can be proud of. Furthermore, hopefully Indonesia could stand with success and pride for its domestic products.
