PT Pindad (Persero) at 2013 ASPACPOL

2013 Asia Pacific Police and Internal State Security (ASPACPOL) Expo and Forum was held for the second time. On the event which was held on December 11^th-13^th 2013, PT Pindad (Persero) was participated by displaying its leading defence and security products which used by Indonesian National Police to support its performance, to maintain security and order in Indonesia. This event was held at Jakarta International Expo (JiExpo) Kemayoran and was directly opened by Chief of Indonesian National Police, Police General Sutarman. Also attending this event were Chief of the DKI Jakarta fire service, Assistant Infrastructure of the Police Headquarters, the main Police Headquarter officials, and the Ambassador of the neighboring countries.

On his welcoming speech, Police General Sutarman said that the Indonesian National Police as the defence and security product end user was eager to find the right products to support the Police performance. Various threats to national security and public order, especially on democracy and reformation era, make the police has an extra duty to resolve it. The industry was expected to produce the required products, one of them by strengthening the field of research and development, so that the resulting product could be used properly to address crime issues that much going on.

PT Pinda (Persero) was displayed some defence and security products which used by the Indonesian National Police such as weapon and ammunitions products which consisted of dari SS1-V1 Police, SS1-V1 Marinize, SS2-V1, SS2-V2, SS2-V5,  V2 Sabhara Riffle, G2 handgun Combat dan Elite version, PM2-V1, PM2-V2, SPR-2, SPR-3, SG-1, SKPK, SAR-2, and ammunitions mock up. Special vehicle product that consisted of one unit of Komodo Tactical Vehicle and Mobile Shooting Range mock up. The last product that was displayed was cloud seedling tool, CoSat 1000.

PT Pindad (Persero) Director of Administration and Finance Rita Widayati was gave one mock up of Anoa Panser 4x4 Police Type to Chief of Indonesian National Police when he visited PT Pindad (Persero) booth. He was also gave a compliment to Komodo Tactical Vehicle which being displayed and asked some matters that related to the vehicle specification.  

PT Pindad (Persero) participation was hoped could maintain Pindad’s position as the weaponry system equipment producer in Indonesia to keep gaining the trust from Indonesian National Police to be a loyal partner at the future. In addition, the exhibition which was attended by many countries in the world was hoped could open new cooperation opportunities for the company. (Anggia)
