PT Pindad Celebrates 40th Anniversary and HalalbiHalal Eid Ul Fitr 1444 H

PT Pindad commemorates the peak of its 40th anniversary celebration with the theme "Pindad Profit with Excellence Performance" on Tuesday, May 2^nd 2023 at Grha Pindad Bandung. The implementation of Halalbihalal and the company's anniversary which is commemorated every April 29 is carried out according to the President's directives after the Eid al-Fitr 1444 H holiday and the new normal after the Covid-19 pandemic. The event was attended by Directors, Commissioners, employees, company union representatives, former Pindad Directors and elders.

April 29^th is a moment that is always commemorated as PT Pindad's birthday, in 2023 it is the 40th anniversary of a company that is moving towards development in various ways, both experience and journey in managing a defense industry, whose products are used to guard state sovereignty.

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of PT Pindad, several series of activities were held at this celebration which consisted of Tausyiah filled by Ustadz H. M Kana Sutrisna Suryadilaga, PT Pindad Uniform Restyling Contest, and also entertainment activities enlivened by the Debu Music group and Pindad Rock Star.

The event began with the Halalbihalal of the Board of Directors who were in touch with employees in each Division & Unit of the company entity. After the halal bihalal activity was completed, the activity was continued with a series of PT Pindad's 40th anniversary

Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Army (Kasad) as President Commissioner of PT Pindad, General TNI Dudung Abdurachman wished PT Pindad the best in supporting the fulfillment of defense equipment.

"Congratulations on PT Pindad's 40th birthday. Through the spirit of 'Profit For Excellence Performance', I hope PT Pindad will be even more victorious with continuous innovation, its performance will shoot up high, and it will contribute more optimally to the fulfillment of defense equipment in the country," said TNI General Dudung Abdurachman.

The CEO of PT Pindad, Abraham Mose in his remarks added that PT Pindad has reached the age of 40 and is in a solid condition to date, has brought experience and increased the ability to build good partnerships and create stability in running the company.

"Pindad is one of Indonesia's proud defense industries. At the age of 40, Pindad has been able to demonstrate its ability to run the defense system and industrial business by obtaining contracts that have reached extraordinary numbers. PT Pindad has contract growth of 24% from the previous year, while sales figures were able to increase by as much as 40%. This shows that independence in the domestic defense industry continues to increase through Pindad's contribution to defense equipment activities. I also represent BOD PT Pindad wish you a happy Eid Al-Fitr 1444 H," explained Abraham Mose.

In the same activity, the Commissioner of PT Pindad, Jaleswari Pramodhawardani expressed her highest gratitude and appreciation to the Board of Directors, GM and VP and all employees, both at the holding, and subsidiaries of the Company who have worked hard hand in hand to achieve the target mandated by the shareholders.

"Even though it is 40 years old, of course Pindad has gone through a long journey in creating, so that PT Pindad is more mature, therefore every challenge it faces in an effort to maintain its existence is always carried out optimally and as well as possible. The Board of Commissioners hopes that the current conducive and harmonious atmosphere will be maintained and further improved in the future and can continue to innovate, and provide the best work for the country so that this nation is admired by other nations because of its extraordinary defense industry." Jaleswari Pramodhawardani said.

During this year's celebration, PT Pindad's Board of Commissioners and Directors as well as company union representatives held a ceremonial cutting of the ‘tumpeng’ as a symbol of PT Pindad's 40th anniversary celebration. The series was also enlivened with speeches and live music from Debu and Pindad Rock Star which ended with distribution of Doorprizes for PT Pindad employees.
