PT PINDAD WELCOMES SESKO MALAYSIA REGARDING THE INDEPENDENCE OF INDONESIAN DEFENSE Products

PT Pindad’s Corporate Communication Manager, Komarudin welcomes the visit of the Malaysian Command and Staff Course (Joint) Serial 52/2023 visit on Thursday, March 16^th 2023 which took place in PT Pindad’s Graha, bandung.

The goal of this visit was within the framework of the Comparative Study Research Visit activity to analyze the independence of the defense equipment production and the production capacity of the Indonesian defense industry by participants in The Malaysian Command and Staff Course (Joint) Serial 52/2023 which was attended by 137 people led by Colonel Nizam bin HJ Che Ani TUDM.

In his greeting, Komarudin extends thankfulness towards the Malaysian Delegation that managed to spare their time to visit PT Pindad directly, and proceeds to explain the various products and businesses PT Pindad has to offer.

“PT Pindad has the capability to produce and develop various defensive and security products such as weapons, combat vehicles, ammunition, as well as industrial products such as heavy machineries, infrastructures, and farming equipment. PT Pindad is also one of the companies that make up DEFEND ID holding. Hopefully the discussion that will be held today will have a beneficial result for both parties.” Explains Komaruddin.

The head delegation from Malaysia, Colonel Nizam bin HJ Che Ani TUDM in the greeting stated that this meeting is meant to ensure civility and friendship between Indonesia and Malaysia, and to elevate both parties’ relations.

“I would like to say thank you towards PT Pindad that has accepted and also offered the facility for this visit. We as brethren countries have a lot in common and also in terms if defense industry involves the two nations, which can be elevated in the long term until we can create a product from ASEAN that can compete globally.” States Colonel Nizam.

The activity was then followed by an explanation of the brief profile and products of PT Pindad which was followed by a Plant Tour to the Production of the Defense and Security Industry.
