Celebrating the 74th Indonesian Independence Day, Pindad Distributes BUMN CSR
In commemoration of the 74th independence day, PT Pindad Together with PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk and PT Dirgantara Indonesia channeled Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) assistance in the ‘BUMN Present to the State series.
The State Owned Enterprise's CSR assistance was symbolically handed over by PT Pindad's Director of Industrial Products Business, Heri Heriswan along with Directors from other BUMNs at the commemoration of Independence Day at the BNI Bank's Main Branch Office in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan, and witnessed by Deputy Ministry of BUMN, Gatot Trihargo, Saturday (8/17/2019).
Heri said that the distribution of CSR assistance was a form of SOE's presence in the community. "This is a manifestation of Pindad's commitment to care for the community, with the spirit of BUMN Present for the Country to accommodate the needs of the Indonesian people," he said.
The various types of CSR assistance provided include housing allowances for residents, electrification, provision of clean water facilities, construction of MCK and scholarships for outstanding students.
After the flag ceremony, officials and the directors of SOEs visited and inaugurated one of the locations for the construction of clean water facilities and infrastructures in the new Sepinggan area which was very enthusiastically welcomed by the surrounding community. (Bani)
