General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPS) for 2018 Book Year, Pindad Profit Reaches Three Digits

Six state-owned enterprises members of the National Defense and Hightech Industry (NDHI) cluster held the 2018 General Shareholders Meeting (RUPS) led by the Deputy for Strategic Industry Mining and Media (PISM), Fajar Hary Sampurno at Wisma Antara Building, Jakarta on Friday , May 10th, 2019.

Six NDHI member enterprises are PT Pindad (Persero), PT Len Industri (Persero), PT Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero), PT Dahana (Persero), PT INTI (Persero), and PT Industri Nuklir Indonesia (Persero )

On that occasion, Fajar said, the performance of the member of NDHI in 2018 had improved and gotten better from the previous year.Pindad's Managing Director, Abraham Mose, stated that in 2018, PT Pindad (Persero) achieved a proud achievement with profits that managed to rise into 3 digit value.

"Eventually, Pindad achieved a proud achievement in 2018, namely a 3 digit value profit worth Rp 100.58 billion", Abraham said.

Furthermore, Abraham added that Pindad has succeeded in developing various production facilities that support production capacity in 2018. PT Pindad (Persero) attended the meeting with all member of the Board of Directors; President Director Abraham Mose, Director of Defense Products Business Widjajanto, Director of Industrial Product Business Heru Puryanto, Director of Finance and Administration Wildan Arief, Director of Technology and Development Ade Bagdja and board of commissioners.

Meanwhile, The outlook from the Board of Commissioners was delivered directly by the Deputy President Commissioner General TNI (ret.) Sumardi. He expressed high appreciation for the performance of PT Pindad (Persero) in 2018.

"Pindad is able to increase efficiency in its operating expenses with a lower value compared to the realization of operating expenses in 2017 financial year," said Sumardi.

He expected PT Pindad (Persero) to establish strategic steps to accelerate production and sales to encourage the advancement of PT Pindad. The RUPS was special because Abraham Mose was awarded as the best presenter in Directors category in the 2018 RUPS of NDHI cluster. [Bani]
