Welcoming the Bangladesh KSAD , Dirtekbang Pindad Shows Medium Tank

The Director of Technology and Development of PT Pindad (Persero) received a visit from the Bangladesh military leadership led by the Chief of Army Staff of the Bangladeshi Army, Aziz Ahmed, BSP, BGBM, PBGM, BGBMS, psc, G. The visit was located at PT Pindad Bandung, on Thursday, ( 08/22/2019). The group of honorary guests consisted of: Azmal Kabir (Bangladesh's Ambassador to Indonesia), Humayun Kabir (Athan Bangladesh), Abul Hasnat Moh. Khairul Bashar (Military Assistant Kasad Bangladesh), Moh. Shaheenul Haque (Director of Weapons and Statistics of the Bangladesh Headquarters), MD Sujaul Haq (Bangladeshi Kasad Staff) and Samiur Rashid (Bangladeshi Kasad Staff).

In his remarks, Ade Bagdja welcomed the entire group and felt proud to be visited by the Supreme Military Command of Bangladesh. Then, Ade Bagdja introduced PT Pindad (Persero) to the entire group, both from history, business lines to all defense equipment products that were produced independently. Ade Bagdja also explained the achievements of PT Pindad (Persero) who created the SS2 V4 HB rifle which had won the AASAM & AARM international military shooting championship 12 years in a row.

One of the products that Ade is proud of is the Tiger Medium Tank. Ade explained the various advantages and capabilities of the Tiger Medium Tank, one of which was the move to move firing target. Development and innovation by PT Pindad has resulted in the ability to shoot moving targets when the tiger is moving. This capability is an added value because it is one step ahead of other Tank products. In addition to above average shooting capability, the Tiger Medium Tank has the endurance to keep moving and walking for 3 full days.

Aziz Ahmed thanked for the warm welcome from PT Pindad. He revealed that this visit aimed to establish relationships and find out more and get to know the defense industry owned by Indonesia, namely PT Pindad.

Furthermore, Aziz claimed to be interested in PT Pindad's products, especially defense and security products, including Medium Tanks, Mortars and Artillery Weapons. Ade Bagdja then guided the Bangladesh military group to the PT Pindad production facility. 

Upon entering the production facility, Aziz Ahmed was greeted with a full line of PT Pindad's combat vehicles, including Ranpur Anoa, Ranpur Badak and Medium Tank Tiger. Seeing the tiger directly, Aziz Ahmed was very interested and tried to go up to see the armament attached. Ade Bagdja who was accompanying him was very enthusiastic to answer Aziz Ahmed's questions about the Tiger.

The visit then continued towards the PT Pindad weapon display. The Bangladesh military group tried a variety of weapons and tasted the test fire with SPR-2, a Pindad sniper rifle. Ending the visit, the Bangladesh Military Team saw a mortar test by the div team. PT Pindad's weapons. (Raka)
