Sekdilu 43 VISITS PT PINDAD TO LEARN AND DEVELOP PRIMARY WEAPONS SYSTEM FOR THE TNI
Chief Finance, Risk Management & HR Officer, Kemal Sudiro welcomes the visit of Ministry of Foreign Affairs' 43 Foreign Service School (Sekdilu) on Wednesday, March 15th 2023 located in the Pindad’s Diklat Aula, Bandung. The visit of Sekdilu 43 which consists of 45 guests lead by the Head of the Education and Training Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mohammad K. Koba.
The agenda of the visit to PT Pindad is to attain knowledge regarding the capabilities of the country of Indonesia in producing primary defensive equipment products by PT Pindad. The understanding of the primary defensive equipment products will be vital as knowledge for the prospective diplomats when they are assigned abroad, as knowledge regarding Indonesia’s defensive capabilities and primary defensive equipment tools that are produced within the country. Prospective diplomats are also hoped to have pride towards the defensive accomplishments of Indonesia and are able to promote PT Pindad’s primary defensive equipment products.
In the welcoming, Kemal Sudiro greets the entire delegation and felt proud to be visited by future Indonesian Diplomat candidates. "PT Pindad up until now still exists in supporting the provision of the defensive and security equipment to realize national defense independence as well as industrial equipment to support government programs. We hope that this activity will add new knowledge and insight regarding the domestic defense industry, so that this information can be spread while on duty in friendly countries." Kemal Sudiro explained. Afterwards, Kemal Sudiro introduced PT Pindad towards the entire participant of the Official Foreign Service School.
Head of Education and Training Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Mohammad K. Koba feels flattered and proud over the welcoming from PT Pindad. “The visit to PT Pindad today is meant to give understanding towards the participants of education and training regarding the strategic industrial potential of Indonesia’s defense which is already able to compete on an international scale. By understanding and also knowing the potential, it is hoped that the participants of the education and training program that are serving as a representative of the Republic of Indonesia abroad are able to promote PT Pindad’s products to our partner countries.” Explains Mohammad K. Koba.
After the presentation and discussion session, the visit then continued to PT Pindad's production facilities. The first visit was made to the weapons division. The group was shown PT Pindad's various weapons products including the SS2 V4 HB which is the pride of Indonesia during various international shooting competitions, such as the AARM and AASAM.
The visit then continued to the special vehicles division to see PT Pindad's various special purpose vehicle products. All participants looked enthusiastic and amazed by the various combat products, especially the Anoa for the UN Peace Keeping Mission and the Tiger Medium Tank.
The visit to the special vehicle product also ends the activities with Sekdilu 43.
