The Excitement of PT Pindad Board of Directors Teaching at High School 

The “Gerakan Direksi Mengajar” program which proclaimed by State Owned Enterprises Ministry for all State Owned Enterprises (SOEs) Board of Directors, was carried out simultaneously on May 20^th 2013, and coinciding with The Day of National Revival.

PT Pindad (Persero) Board of Directors with high spirit and enthusiasm, welcomed this program which had a purpose to give a motivation, spirit, and success tips for the young generations which would fill this country independency with their works and achievements.

The president director of PT Pindad (Persero), Adik A. Soedarsono who was an alumnus of ST Aloysius Bandung on 1979, gave his subject in front of the students who paid an attention seriously and accompanied by the teachers and the Headmistress, Lucia Kadarusman S Si.

Meanwhile, Director of Weaponry System, Slamet Irianto who was an alumnus of SMAN 5 Semarang on 1969, witnessed by the teachers and Headmaster, Drs. Waino S. S.Pd, M.Pd, with high spirit told his career journey until he became a director of State Owned Enterprises that produce weaponry system equipments in this country. 

Director of Administration and Finance, Lenggogeni who was an alumnus of her high school, SMAN 3 Padang on 1984, should flight to her hometown which famous by its food such as Rendang, Padang. She gave her lesson and success story which began after she graduated high school in front of the students and accompanied by the teachers and Headmistress, Dra. Monalisa M. Pd.

Nearly same story was told by the alumnus of Santa Maria 1 High School on 1975, Tri Hardjono, who currently served as Director of Manufacturing Product of PT Pindad (Persero). Mr Tri Hardjono told his success story In front of his juniors, the teachers, and Headmistress Murnijati, S. Pd.

A bit different with other directors, Wahyu Utomo who currently served as Director of Planning and Development, did not gave his success story in front of his alma mater, but in front of student of SMAN 1 Turen Malang which located at the same area with Ammunition Division factories of PT Pindad (Persero), witnessed by the teachers and Headmaster Drs. H. Fatheh M. Pd.

Beside of shared their success story of their career, the Directors were also showed the ability and performance of PT Pindad as one of manufacturing industry which produce the weaponry system equipments for this country.

On this “Gerakan Direksi Mengajar” program, PT Pindad also gave a set of laptop an LCD to 4 mentioned high school above and gave ------ to ST Aloysius High School.

The long journey and struggle that never give up, and the spirit that kept awake after graduated from high school were told by the people who successfully reach the peak position at SOEs companies. Hopefully, this “Gerakan Direksi Mengajar” could be a motivation and inspiration to these younger generation to reach their dreams. (ami)
