Silmy Karim: The Spirit of Nuzulul Quran for a Better Pindad

PT Pindad (Persero) together with orphans living around PT Pindad (Persero) commemorate Nuzulul Quran. This event is held on Monday, July 6th, 2015 at Graha Pindad and attended by Board of Directors, Management, as well as the employee of PT Pindad (Persero).

The Nuzulul Quran comemmoration is themed With the spirit of Nuzulul Quran, we increase honesty, learning spirit, excellent performance, and the discipline of SHE. According to the Project Officer of this event, Achyarmansyah Lubis, the theme is a reflection of Companys culture which is currently being applied within the Company. The theme is adjusted to the Companys culture which we implemet, and all the points are stated in Al-Quran. What we are sounding now, all of them are there since 14 centuries ago, he says.

The President Director of PT Pindad (Persero), Silmy Karim, on his speech says that the moment of Nuzulul Quran commemoration is a right time to wish 2015 will be ended with encouraging result. I am optimistic that achievements in 2015 would be better. The existing prospects in 6 months ahead hopefully could be maximized. Let us pray together so that 2015 will be one of best years of Pindad compared to the previous era, Silmy says.

Silmy adds that Indonesia is a country with the most populated Moslems in the world. If the defense industry could be excellent, that would become a proud thing not only for Indonesia, but also for Moslems around the world. Indonesia has a massive potential. We are so enthusiastic to develop defense industry. This is one of basis of our spirit, in developing the Company and the national defense industry. We take the spirit of Nuzulul Quran to change for a better Pindad, adds Silmy.

A tausiyah also becomes one of the events within the commemoration of Nuzulul Quran. The tausiyah talks about self-control and is presented by Ustadz Nuryaman. The Company also provides donation to 44 orphans from Sukapura and are handed by the Board of Directors of PT Pindad (Persero). The event is closed by Maghrib prayer and breakfasting with employee.
