Synergy of NKRI, Pindad and TNI - Polri Held Joint Cycling Event Tour to Pangandaran

In order to commemorate the 74th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, PT Pindad (Persero) held a 2 notes & Independence activities with the route Tasikmalaya - Pangandaran as far as 100 kilometers, Sunday (8/25/2019). This activity was followed by a combination of TNI - Polri, the community and the bicycle community. Director Abraham Mose said the choice of 2 notes & routes in the East Priangan area as well as efforts to support the government to widely introduce the potential of the Pangandaran coast being laid out.

"Some of the participants came from outside West Java, who did not necessarily know the condition of Pangandaran beach," Abraham said.

Abraham said the activity had been carried out three times in the last three years. He said this activity was a form of government support to increase local tourism visits, especially Pangandaran, which was being pushed by the West Java government to become a world tourist destination.

The activity that was followed by 600 participants took a start at Makodim 0612 Tasikmalaya which was divided into two large groups.

While Deputy Army Chief of Staff (Wakasad), Lt. Gen. Tatang Sulaiman said, the activities of the 2 notes & Independence carried the synergy for the Republic of Indonesia.

Synergy is reflected in the participants coming from representatives of BUMN, TNI, Polri, Tasikmalaya City Government, Tasikmalaya Regency, Headquarters of the Headquarters, Pindad Cycling Comunity, Puster, West Java Regional Police, Siliwangi Military Command, Pussenif Kodiklat, NDHI and various community riding bicycles.

"The main purpose of the 2 notes & activities is for health," said Wakasad. He added that there were some participants who were not familiar with Pangandaran tourism area. It was an opportunity to promote local culture and the potential of Pangang beach tourism to the community. (Bani)
