SS2-V1 Cal. 5.56 mm

Born from a development to improve the perfomance of SS1 assault rifle platform, SS2-V1 is the first of Pindad’s second generation assault rifle. With 460 mm barrel length, SS2-V1 can easily hit a target as far as 400 meters using 5.56 x 45 mm NATO rounds. One of the new features of SS2-V1 is the presence of bolt catch system which will automatically insert a round into the chamber after a magazine change with a press of a button.
