Pindad’s newest and most advanced assault rifle. Comes with 7.62 x 51 mm caliber ammunition, bigger than SS2 series with 5.56 x 45 mm NATO. SS3 is designed as a main battle rifle which is dependable on any battle scenario. With 500 mm barrel length, SS3 can shoot effectively up to 800 meters using optics and 400 meters using standard iron sights. This variant still uses gas operated mechanism, which is now combined with 20 round magazine.
