Stungta x Pindad hand over the smokeless incinerator to PTTEP Indonesia for use in Toba Lake

Chief Business of Industrial Products officer of PT Pindad (Persero), Suharyono, accompanied by GM of Industrial Equipment and Services, Agus Herman made handed over and release of Stungta x Pindad symbolically to a private company, PTTEP Indonesia represented by General Affairs Manager, Afiat Djajanegara on Friday, 19 February 2021 at the Directorate Building of Pindad Bandung. Stungta x Pindad will be applied in Lake Toba as 5 super priority destinations. The release ceremony was also attended by the Head of the West Java Province ESDM Service, Bambang Rianto and the President Director of PT Toptekno Indo / Hejotekno, Betha Kurniawan.

The handover of Stungta x Pindad is part of the success of the government program in waste processing.

In his remarks, Suharyono, expressed his highest appreciation for the trust that PTTEP Indonesia has given to innovative waste processing products belonging to the nation's children. Suharyono also conveyed that the Coordinating Minister for Maritime & investment Affairs (Menko Manves) also supports the use of Stungta x Pindad as a waste management solution in Indonesia.

"Thank you for PTTEP Indonesia's trust in the innovative products of the nation's children, Stungta x Pindad, as a form of participation and waste management solutions. Pindad will continue to innovate in the development of waste processing incinerators from its main sources such as markets, rivers, and others. " Suharyono explained.

The General Affairs Manager of PTTEP, Afiat Djajanegara said that the incinerator was encouraged by the Minister of Marves to solve the waste problem, especially in priority tourism areas. Afiat explained that waste processing is the focus of the PTTEP CSR program.

“Incinerators are not only produced by Pindad. The selection of Stungta x Pindad has passed several considerations. We chose Stungta which is a domestic product. PTTEP is the first private company to use Stungta, and it is hoped that it will encourage other private companies to use the Stungta x Pindad incinerator product in handling waste management. " Afiat explained.

Stungta x Pindad is a smokeless incinerator, the result of a collaboration between PT Pindad (Persero) and PT Top Tekno Indo (Hejotekno). The advantages include environmentally friendly; This incinerator does not produce smoke and other harmful substances because it has gone through a double burner, filter and smoke treatment.

Energy saving: Stungta x Pindad Incirenator is an appropriate technology for minimizing waste problems with the Furnace & Water Treatment System so it is very efficient in fuel use.

Continuous system: The input of waste in combustion can be carried out continuously, which is different from other incinerators that use the open and close system of the combustion chamber door which requires the burner to be turned off and cooled down when new waste is introduced.
