Tank boat Antasena successfully passed the Sea Trial & Firing Test

Tank Boat Antasena has successfully undergone a series of tests starting with Sea Trial from Banyuwangi pier to Paiton waters, East Java. Antasena then carried out to a Firing Test using 30 mm cannon as the main weapon at Paiton Navy shooting range which was witnessed by Director General of Defense Potential of the Ministry of Defense (Dirjen Pothan Kemhan RI), Major General TNI Dadang Hendrayudha, Dirtekindhan of Dirjen Pothan, Admiral TNI Sri Yanto, CEO of PT Pindad (Persero), Abraham Mose, Chief of Technology and Development of PT Pindad (Persero), Ade Bagdja and accompanied by other Consortium Directors. After the shooting, Antasena continued the Sea Trial activity by returning to Banyuwangi pier on Saturday, May 22, 2021. The total distance travelled by this activity was 170 Nautical miles.

Tank Boat Antasena can carry up to 60 personnel and 5 crew members, has a maximum speed of 40 knots and a cruising range of up to 600 Nautical miles. Equipped with RCWS with a cannon caliber 30 mm and 2 machine guns caliber 12.7 mm, Antasena is ready to maintain sovereignty and defends waters territorial of the Republic of Indonesia. Antasena are expected to support the TNI in carrying out swamp, sea, river and coastal operations (Ralasuntai) as well as sea and coas guard duties (Sea and Coast Guard).

Tank Boat is a program of Indonesian Ministry of Defense implemented by a consortium in which PT Pindad (Persero) is the lead integrator in collaboration with PT Lunding Industry Invest, PT Len Industri (Persero) and PT Hariff.
