The Visit of the Colombian Ambassador to Pindad

The Ambassador of Colombia for Indonesia, H.E. Juan Camilo Valencia Gonzalez together with the Senior Advisor of Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for America and Europe, Johan J. Mulyadi conducted a business visit to PT Pindad (Persero) on May 20th, 2019. The delegation of the Colombian Ambassador was welcomed by the President Director of PT Pindad (Persero), Abraham Mose, the General Manager of the Weapons Division, Yayat Ruyat and the General Manager of the Special Vehicle Division Widjil Djatmiko Budi in the Board of Directors Meeting Room of PT Pindad (Persero), Bandung.

The purpose of this visit was to know the Indonesian defense industry development and set the opportunity to work together in defense sector. Juan Camilo was interested in various weapons, Excava 200 Amphibious and combat vehicles.

In his remarks, President Director of PT Pindad (Persero), Abraham Mose expressed his pride that the representatives of the Colombian state could visit Pindad and conveyed the duties and functions of Pindad as one of the domestic defense industries. Abraham also showed various products from the latest innovations made by Pindad such as Medium Tank, various new weapon line, and industrial products (Excava Amphibious).

After the introduction of Pindad, the delegation took a plant tour to the production facilities to directly see the production process of defense and industrial products and try various weapons made by Pindad (Raka)
