The visit was a follow-up to the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Government of the Republic of Indonesia and the Government of the Republic of the Philippines concerning cooperation in logistics and industry defense. The group was received by the Managing Director of PT Pindad (Persero), Abraham Mose along with other Directors of the Defense Industry in the country.

The two countries agreed on the formation of cooperation in the logistics and defense industries aimed at strengthening the collaboration of the defense industry in particular the procurement of defense equipment and other defense industry products.

Abraham Mose warmly welcomed the arrival of the Philippine Delegation and his entourage to showcase various superior defense equipment and Pindad production facilities.
"We welcome the delegation from the Philippine Delegation and the Indonesian Ministry of Defense's Director General Pothan. Today we will show Tiger Medium Tanks and various other Pindad-made defense and security products that have been used by the TNI and are ready to support the Philippine military fleet," Abraham said.

Medium Tank Tiger is present as an innovative product of the latest combat vehicles made by Pindad supported by the Indonesian Ministry of Defense according to the needs of the TNI. Equipped with a 105 mm caliber turret main weapon and a 7.62 mm caliber machine gun for maximum combat power, the Tiger is able to operate for a variety of operating conditions, especially tropical places and extreme terrain because it has a lighter weight than the Main Battle Tank. Equipped with STANAG 4569 protection to level 5, an anti-ballistic and antipersonnel defense system, the Tiger is projected to strengthen the main military fleet.

As for various other combat vehicles such as Anoa various variants and Komodo Tactical Vehicles made by Pindad have proven its quality on various difficult terrains in various other countries. More than 360 Anoa units have been used by the TNI and some vehicles are actively operating in various UN peace missions in Lebanon (UNIFIL), Sudan (UNAMID), Central Africa (MINUSCA), Congo (MONUSCO). Alutsista displayed on the defile includes Anoa and Komodo various variants, Rhino, Water Canon and Tiger Medium Tank.

The Filipino delegation also tried various weapons and munitions made by Pindad at the KK Division's shooting range including various variants of Rifles and Handguns.
Other defense industries include PT DI (Persero), PT Len Industri (Persero), PT Pal Indonesia (Persero) and PT NTP also displaying various superior products to the Philippines Delegation. In the future there will be more potential for defense equipment cooperation carried out by other defense industries that can provide mutual benefits for both parties.

Abraham Mose hopes that cooperation with the Philippines can be better and in its implementation procedures Pindad will follow all regulations with the principles of good corporate governance.

"Hopefully future cooperation, especially with Pindad, will be better. In its implementation we refer to the defense industry regulations, then cross border. If we do business in trade with other countries, we also adopt their regulations so that this collaboration can create value for each company. Pindad has also really done good corporate governance, our GCG predicate scores very well and we follow shareholder policies including ISO 37001 throughout the work environment, "Abraham continued.
