Improve Economic Wheels, Pindad Delivers 1,000 Catfish Seeds to The Citizens Around Pindad

PT Pindad (Persero) through the Partnership and Community Development Program (PKBL) provides good quality catfish seeds to the community around the PT Pindad area, Kiaracondong District, Bandung City, West Java.

This program is a routine program carried out by PKBL Pindad, as well as a concrete step that is expected to help the community's economy during the Covid-19 pandemic since the beginning of February.

PKBL distributes 1,000 seeds and prepares supporting facilities such as biofloc ponds and their feed needs.

PKBL Junior Manager, Yunus Somantri said that this program was a part of the company's program to contribute to helping the surrounding community, encouraging some changes.

"This 1,000 catfish seed program is the beginning, we will see in the future, I hope this program in the hands of the Sukapura people will run successfully," said Yunus.

Yunus added that the catfish pond which is planned to be integrated with the Aquaponic system is also expected to be harvested in the next three months to create food security in Sukapura Village, especially during the Covid-19 Pandemic.

On behalf of the Kiarcondong sub-district, Head of Sukapura Urban Village, Melinasari expressed his appreciation to PT Pindad for its attention to the environment around PT Pindad. According to him, this program is very positive and is a joint development program with the people of Sukapura.

 "Not only just coaching, I would like to say thank you too, for the material assistance that has been so many times to provide assistance." He concluded.
