Flag Ceremony Commemorating 36th Pindad Anniversary, Innovation for the Country

The Director of Technology & Development of Pindad, Ade Bagdja, served as the Inspector of the Flag Ceremony Commemorating the 36th Anniversary on Monday, April 29th. The ceremony was held at Pindad Bandung headquarters and attended by the Board of Directors, management, employees of PT Pindad, and IIKP women’s group.

Ade Bagdja while reading the ceremony mandate representing the President Director expressed his pride in Pindad's achievements during 2018 by recording contracts amount of 5.6 Trillion Rupiah and sales value of 3.2 Trillion Rupiah which is the highest achievement in the history of the company.

Ade Bagdja also advised to continue to build superior teamwork for employees to achieve and increase their work performance to give confidence to customers and be able to compete internationally.

At the age of 36, according to the theme of this year's Pindad Anniversary, "Innovation for the Country", Pindad continues to innovate, improve, and maintain the quality of its products to increase user trust and always strive to achieve independence in domestic defense equipment.

Pindad states to be consistent in building the defense equipment industry through the development of various weapons, munitions and special vehicles. In addition, Pindad also continues to develop its industrial business by presenting various product lines such as heavy equipment, railroad equipment, cast forging products, Marine Equipment (APKL), generators and others.

Pindad also showed his contribution in various social activities, such as village building program in Ciamis, environmental preservation, tree planting projects, Kamojang nature conservation in West Java Province and improving the quality of life of the community through electrification, Rutilahu, provision of sanitary facilities, clean water and plastic chopping tools. In addition, PT Pindad monumentalize its prime products in the Anoa Panzer Monument located in Taman Cibeunying, Bandung.

In the ceremony, awards and souvenirs were handed over to 50 employees who had entered retirement in the range of August 2018 - April 2019.
