Deputy Minister of Defense of Indonesia visits Pindad, reviews production facilities

The Deputy Minister of Defense (Wamenhan) of the Republic of Indonesia, Lt. Gen. Muhammad Herindra, accompanied by the Director General of Renhan, Maj. Gen. Budi Prijono and his staff made a working visit to PT Pindad (Persero) which was welcomed by the CEO of PT Pindad (Persero), Abraham Mose and the board of directors and the board of commissioners of PT Pindad (Persero), Maj. Gen. TNI (Purn.) Sakkan Tampubolon, Arlan Septia, and Jaleswari Pramodhawardani on Friday, February 26, 2021.

The Deputy Minister of Defense Herindra's working visit to PT Pindad (Persero) this time was to see the development and capability of Pindad's production facilities to meet the needs of national defense both from the aspects of defense and security as well as industrial products.

The Deputy Minister of Defense and his entourage paid a visit to the production line of Anoa, Badak, Medium Tank and Rantis fighting vehicles consisting of Komodo dragons and 4x4 Maung. Then the Deputy Minister of Defense reviewed industrial products such as heavy equipment, especially excavators, as well as agro products of agricultural machine tool innovation including multipurpose tractors, planting rota, combine harvester and rice drying machines which are currently being used to support the economic recovery program through the Indonesian government's Food Estate.

The activity then ended with the Deputy Defense Minister visiting the production facility and inspecting various types of weapons made by Pindad such as pistols, assault rifles and various variants of SPR.
